Alan merges his market research and data analysis work with web & digital development, providing an unique combination of skills.
His background includes more than 15 years experience in the Content/Operations and Strategy/Research divisions of commercial radio operators Australian Radio Network (owners of the KIIS & Pure Gold FM networks in Australia's capital cities) and Ace Radio Broadcasters.
Alan has been developing websites since Netscape Navigator ruled the world in the late 1990s. Since then the web has become a much more versatile place with the growth in power of web apps and dynamic, interactive web sites.
Over the past decade, Alan has developed bespoke web apps for media research, online accounting, and a web workflow system for sales and creative departments - not to mention dozens of regular article and content CMS driven websites.
Kat is the Creative Director with 17 years experience in digital and print design.
Originally specialising in print design, she quickly developed a strong passion for digital design after working for the Department of Education in 2006 designing and developing educational sites. Shortly after she joined the growing Sound Alliance (now Junkee Media) team in 2007 working on their online brands inthemix, Fasterlouder, Same Same and Mess+Noise; as well as designing digital campaigns for Australian and International brands.
Kat then joined SBS in 2010, working on varying projects across online, print, broadcast and corporate design. An integral part of campaigns such as Tour de France, Eurovision and the FIFA World Cup site designs, as well as digital ad design, social media, sales and marketing campaigns, and developing digital branding. With a solid background in television, radio and media, also working with Foxtel, Southern Cross Austereo, Ace Radio, as well as working with dozens of agencies across Australia on high profile projects.
